Hi there!
I'm travelling to Montenegro by car from Athens, Greece (via Albania) with two dogs and was wondering if anyone has any such experience and could maybe give me a hand with a couple of questions:
I read online that a Titer test (rabies antibodies test) is required for dogs to be allowed into Montenegro, and must be administered at least three months prior to travelling. We haven't done the required test (all rabies jabs have been administered though) and was wondering if anyone knows if they do indeed ask for the Titer test at Montenegrin land borders. Our vet told us that we won't have a problem, and I also read on other forums that more often than not, border control barely even looks at a dog's passport in Montenegro let alone check for a Titer test.
But I just want to be (somewhat) sure, so if anyone has any more information and/or experience with this and could give me a shout I'd be very much grateful.
Thanks!
George
