I added descriptions to my photos in the photo gallery.
But I do not see them in my blog.
How do I get them there?
Or will they show up when published?
Thank you

This is definitely something that could be done a lot better. In the meanwhile though, this is how it’s done:
1. Click on the icon to insert a photo.
2. Next to each photo there are three sizes (“Thumbnail”, “Regular”,”Large”) that you can insert as. And next to that is a small icon - it’s supposed to resemble an image with a caption. If you click on that icon you get the image with the description from your photo gallery included.
3. Adjust the caption as it's shown in the blog entry if you like.
Note that the caption here does not update if you update the caption in the photo gallery. Nor does updating it here affect the photo gallery. They are quite separate. This just allows you to insert the text quickly.
Alternatively to this, you can just add a block of text under the photo and style it however you like.
I know it’s far from perfect, but this is how it is for now. Hopefully that helps explain it.
I clicked on that little Photo with description icon and nothing happened.
I will try again.
Should I be able to see the descriptions on my blog even in the draft?
it is hard to remember the photos that I inserted because they only show up in url type from in the draft when I am working on it.
I have to go back every time to preview to see and remember the photo
Yes you should be able to see the descriptions even in draft mode. Although actually, it may not do quite what you want, because it will show the "title" of the photo, not the description. You may need to just add the description into the blog entry manually by copy / pasting it. You could use italics to make it clear it's related to the photo.
I am working on a new blogging editor that will improve this stuff, but for now, yes, I agree it can be very confusing.
Thank you
It says I have 45 views, but only 15 people subscribed.
Who else is viewing?
Can I just have it private?
There's an option to make it private for supporting members.
Most of the views are most likely bots and the likes. Though you will get some views from other Travellerspoint members too, especially if your blog entry gets featured.
