For people who have never been to Sri Lanka at all, is there anything that needs special attention, such as certain habits of the locals, festivals and taboos and the like. I once entered an Islamic community during a trip and had some bad memories because I didn't understand their customs.

I didn't see when that message was there, but I'm assuming it was placed on one of the now deleted posts (#7 or #2/#3), with those posts almost certainly being promotional and/or AI-slop, both of which are strictly prohibited on this forum.
