Also a Newbie, do you have to make a blog on TravellersPoint? or are you able to share your own blog posts?
You can check the forum rules with the link given above. It seems like it would be very easy to simply copy your blog into a blog here on TP and not have to worry about it.
My best guess is that you can't "advertise" your own blog. That would fall under self promotion which is not allowed. I'm not a moderator and one will soon show up and answer your question.
I had my original blogs on a site called Virtual Tourist. I saved those blogs (as much as I could) when Trip Advisor bought VT and took it off line about 2014 or 2016. Peter (the travellerspoint webmaster) helpfully saved my photos that I had uploaded to VT. I tried other websites but none of them really worked out for me. So since then my new blogs have been here, but I have recreated many of the earlier ones.
I am not interested in making money or getting followers - just trying to get my memories and photos in order.
