Romania travel advice

Hi, you should visit Oradea - thermal springs and Sapanta happy cemetery which is on your way,
Cluj and visit Praid salt mine around there;
visit Sighisoara medieval city, there are some wine regions around there;
Sibiu > Transfagarasan road;
Brasov: Rasnov fortress, Bran castle, 7 stairs canion, Bucegi mountains (by car or cable car)
The roads are good, highways in some parts, mind the bears around Transfagarasan and Bucegi. Join a group of tourists, buy a pepper spray for bears and you'll be fine.
Skip Bucharest, maybe visit it another time and add the Black Sea and Danube Delta.

I visited Bucharest, Brasov, Sibiu and Timisoara. All four are worth visiting, in my opinion. My advice is that, in 10 days, you visit someting in Serbia, but not much, so that you can enjoy each destination. Maybe 3 of the 4 Romanian cities I mentioned and Belgrade. That´s what I would do.

Thanks for all recommendations! Your ideas are all very helpful. The only issue is we arrived in Romania 3 days later than planned, as we were sightseeing too much on they way Everything became more clear on the spot. We visited Oradea and then moved to Maramures and Bucovina regions, visited many wooden churches and monestaries. Hoping to move to Sighisoara tomorrow. The only unexpected thing is that driving is very very slow due to never ending villages and mountains, so even small distances become very long. I feel I will have more questions about Romania than before coming here

Perhaps a loca advise would still be helpful. We would like to see Sighisoara, Sibiu, drive Transfagarasan road. In addition, Brasov and Brand castle are close by, but we are running out of time. If we skip Brasov and Bran castle, do we miss a lot? I am reading that Bran castle is overcrowded and overadvertised, after all you can see the pictures on internet. But if we try to visit them all, what would be the most logical route? We are going from Voronet monestary to Sighisoara and probably staying there overnight. After this, should we go to Sibiu and drive to South along Transfagarašan? Or better try to go to Brasov and Bran and then drive Transfagarašan towards North (Sibiu)? Afterwards, we would be going to Serbia, but we are not sure which crossing point. Should we go out from Timisoara? Also, we would like to see some salt mine - are there any smaller ones on this route that you would recommend visiting? Thanks a lot in advance!!!
