I am a lover of Asian cuisine. I'm about to travel to Vietnam. Can everyone suggest me some dishes to try when I come to Vietnam?
Vietnam food
Vietnam spring rolls, sticky rice with mango.
Local 🍺 . I’m allergic to the alcohol but my friend thought it’s good.
Hi.
For me, cheapskate that I am, I can survive anywhere in Asia on fried rice! Each country in that area will have their own variation and name for it.
So try the fried rice.
- If you have any allergies to seafood, be careful! Lots of dishes have fish sauce in it!
Knowing how to say hello, thank you in the local language can be helpful.
Possibly going to Vietnam later this year myself. I'm excited about the Banh Mi and Pho.
And just whatever new and exciting things that I find for sale there

I forgot Pho. I love it. haha. I have a chinese stomach and it is almost the same as chinese noodles.
Pho, Banh My
Fried bugs.
- I had the opportunity to work in Vietnam for a couple years during the war.
I was always suspicious of some "meat" meals when out in the villages. (Was it dog or some other strange meat source.)
Bugs, best time to sample some is after a couple beers. (Mostly you only taste the cooking oil they were fried in.) One variety had a peanut with it when deep fried.
Happy eating!
😅😅.
Pancake (Bánh xèo).
