Hi everyone,
I’m planning on doing a working holiday in Australia in April 2023 but I really want to go earlier. The only reason I’m saying april 2023 is because I should have around £9500 (16,500aud) saved up by then. Does anyone have any advice on how much I should take with me? I know this varies from person to person so my plans are to chill for a month explore new places (either around Sydney or Melbourne) party etc… I plan to stay in either hostels or house share/flat share and I’m already going with 1 other friend (has their own money) Once I’ve done that I’ll try to find work etc etc…
Any help on the WHV would be amazing
Thank you!

Hey,

i was there almost 10 years ago. I would say that 5000 pounds/euros whatever is plenty. I guess 5000 pounds is ~8000 aud. that's enough!
but of course it depneds on what you want to do. you could try to find a job in the beginning and save money or travel a bit ... at any rate you should be fine with 5000 for at least 3 months!
