For sure, it is Torres del Paine Nationalpark in Chile.
Where Am I? Game
I believe it's not all in Chile...
But you'll note that I asked not for the name of the country but the area, which seems to overlap national borders.
The sheer beauty of the place deserves exposure, doesn't it?
I'm unclear, are you saying that's correct and it's BeateR's go?
No, I'm sure he'll get it, but it's a region that transcends national borders...
In other words, Chile is not the answer.
Now I'm really bewildered.
The picture in # 2243 from RayBell clearly is TdP. But the picture in # 2242is clearly somewhere in Africa. I really don't know any mountain in Africa which looks the same as TdP and has glaciers as in # 2239.
But this is not a problem, I'm only curious. Otherwise if it was my tourn I had to give it away nevertheless, because I reall don't have the time for searching for pictures and all the discussion following. I only love to guess along.
Patagonia?
Lesotho has mountains….but I think the photos look like TdP as well.

As Ray has said "it's not all in Chile", that suggests part of it is in Chile so this suggests TdP is correct. Which is what I thought when I first saw the pics, despite not having been there it's very famous.
Maybe he's holding out for the word "Patagonia", which seems pedantic when a more specific answer has been given. Or maybe he's being even more pedantic and the photo of TdP is taken from a spot outside of TdP with a different name?
I have been to Patagonia (the chilenean and the argentinian part of it) so often. And therefore also about 7 times to Torres del Paine. Therefore the picture was very clear to me.
But I'm now asking myself what reason there is for the picture with the Lion???
