Where's Indonesia?

"Where's Indonesia?"

Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo can be very helpful with maps. (I personally find using a laptop or other big screen device more useful for research than a tiny mobile phone.)

Since you are familiar with Thailand just look at countries located near the bottom. Find Malaysia and then Indonesia.

Good luck.

HAAAA, sorry, my mistake. I know where it is but I was referring to the list of Asian countries and Indo is missing on this list. Not sure why, may not be as popular as Thailand but it is an amazing country with sooo much more to offer.

Bali is popular with tourists from Australia, especially women alone or in groups. Lots of Chinese tourists all over Southeast Asia. (Before this "Virus Thing" hit.)

I have been to Bali and from Denpasar flew to Sumbawa Besar for an Earthwatch charity program. I had a nice time. (I kinda like the Bintang Beer!)

Indonesia has lots of people and lots of islands!

"The current population of Indonesia is 276,359,341 as of Saturday, June 26, 2021, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data." Google will give you info for "things to do" and some specs for size, politics and religion.

I personally prefer Bangkok to Bali or Jakarta but for a first time visit you should be okay.

Good luck.
