Welcome to the Forum. Please, I am not sure what you mean by "protected spots" in Corsica. Are you referring to personal safety, climate issues, crime? If I were planning a trip to Corsica, I would not be worried about dangers. It is well adapted to tourism and has an excellent public transportation system.
The post above gives you two excellent sources for travel information. Please check the TravellersPoint guide to Corsica given above. You can also check the "Accommodations" section of TravellersPoint for places to stay. It will take you to Booking dot com which is what I use. You can choose the budget, location and type of accommodation you want. Read the reviews. They are quite accurate and can only be written by people who have stayed there so are much better than many other travel web sites.
Are you using public transportation or will you rent a car? If you want specific hotel and restaurant suggestions, please give us an idea of your budget, a budget range of some kind.
