I am from Somerset, U.K. I am heading out to Auckland in November. Planning on working for a couple of months before travelling around the country. Then I am looking to head to Oz then Asia.
Anyone else got similar plans??
To anyone that has done the whole travel thing before, how much do you think I will need for a reasonable trip, bearing in mind I will also do a couple of months work?
You need as much money as you can have.
Unless you actually have a job lined up, there is no guarantee of getting one so allow for that. A year or two ago there were stories in the British papers about British people getting kicked out of their jobs to make room for New Zealanders returning home in the global down turn and looking for work.
ill be getting into auckland on the 25th of november. Be there for a few days before i head on the kiwi experience
