I have few photos of this place. There used to be water here. I climbed over a fence to illegally enter this country. They had (as the time) very restrictive visa rules, so I invaded!

Yes, it is Angola. Amazingly remembered from at least 8 years ago.

I don't remember where. I just remember you crossed from Namibia? The only place I have ever heard of in Angola is the capital Luanda, but I don't think that's near there
Just out of interest is it still really hard to get into Angola nowadays?
Yes, it’s still a bit tricky, but easier now with e-visas. Border from Namibia is doable, Luanda is far from there.

I did cross from Namibia. There used to be a dam and water. One of the countries (I think Angola) diverted the river. It was a massive waterfall. The Angolans bombed it in a war.
