Hi,

I am planning to travel to PNG alone at the very beginning of January 2024 and would like to book a tour or multiple tours to explore PNG. However, so far, all tours I found online are extortionately expensive.

I would be extremely appreciative if you could share links or names of the local travel agents or tours you used that are fair with price and offer great tours. I am looking to explore the cultural side of PNG.

Hi Dee.

Kind of short on words. Do you really mean Papua New Guinea or something else?

Your hotel should be able to advise you on booking tours in person. (Like most countries.)

However, do research safety for New Guinea so you know about possibly being a victim of crime.

Some warnings mention - "Reconsider travel to Papua New Guinea due to crime, civil unrest, and piracy."

Check with your Foreign Office, State Department or whoever advises tourists from your country for foreign travel.
