I've been uploading photos for the 'Where am I?' thread and have encountered two issues:
1. Photos which are correctly oriented on upload are changed (e.g. portrait > landscape). When I use the TP 'rotate' function it appears to work but clicking 'Save'
doesn't save the change I make.
2. Random previously-deleted photos have suddenly appeared in my uploaded photos on two separate occasions today. This is very odd indeed....
I'm using Chrome and the photos that won't save when rotated are from both my phone and my camera.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hmm, not sure. Odd for there to be issues here when nothing has really changed in quite a few years in those departments.
The rotation of photos could maybe be due to the camera passing metadata in an unexpected way.
To debug the photos re-appearing, I'll need more specifics on which ones this is happening with to try and track it down.
I'll drop you a private message.

Thank you, Peter.

I sorted the rotation issue for that thread by rotating again (trial & error) before uploading. Although the photo looked wrong on my comp it appeared correctly rotated on upload. It's weird because the photos I used are from two different cameras (taken 2013 and 2025) plus my phone. The only common link is that I use MS Office 'Picture Manager' to edit (yes, I know it's old)....but I've always used that and haven't encountered issues before.
The photos rotated correctly when I used TP's rotate tool but they wouldn't save. Very odd.
I'll have to dig out the 'recurring' photos so please bear with me.
Btw, I tried logging out and deleting TP history & cookies but it made no difference.
