The TP Map has incurred several errors. A new worldwide trip has been added to my map and I know nothing about it. Previous trips have lost lines on the map and even several placenames have been omitted. I have now changed my password, just in case of it being hacked, but is there a system error involved?

Hmm, this is very odd. Which of the trips was added that you knew nothing of?
Trip 1090046 is not mine. It appears on my map, but with a place-name repeated 198 times on the stop list.
Several old trips like 278926 have stops missing, disappeared, and/or appear with a mismatch between map and stops list.

A mystery. Probably of a technical kind. Somehow this trip has jumped into my user account. Looks like a nice trip though...
Yeah, probably a borked query somewhere. I'm digging deeper.
I don't really know what went wrong here to be honest, but the weird extra trip was only in the cache and not in the database. So I refreshed the cache and the trip is now gone. Hopefully it cleans up the other issues as well.
The extra trip is removed. Thanks for a swift reply and fix. On the other hand the other issue is still making some disturbances: Some older trips seems to have disappeared from the map - they are only visible with their titles.
Any specifics? It's very hard for me to guess where the problems are that you're seeing 
Also, there's a good chance that display bugs will be fixed in the new mapping system that will come out soon, so it could be kind of pointless trying to chase them down.
