Spotted this question from Mohn in the discussion section of one of the articles. thought it might be better to have this on the forum:
---------------------
I've been trying to add photos to each of the Wiki entries that I've changed, photos being worth 1,000 words and all that. The photo code description says that something like will cycle through all featured photos that have been tagged with Ambalavao. I'm using Ambalavao purely as an example, but the more general problem I'm finding (though maybe I've just been unlucky so far ...) is that many photos may have the place name in their title or description but NOT as one of their tags, meaning they won't be picked up by the code. I realise I can pick one particular photo and simply insert the ID, but that obviously means that that photo is fixed in the Wiki going forward, whereas the cycling feature adds variety as well as will pick up future featured photos from Ambalavao that are tagged as such.
So my tentative suggestion is - could the photo code search be changed to check the title and description too (like the general search feature on the site already does)?
(Unrelated question, but does the e-mail subscription to this forum work? I didn't get a mail when someone replied to one of my other threads and I'm pretty sure I'd subscribed to it.)

I guess an alternative to changing the photo code would be to allow members (perhaps only those of a certain level) to add tags to other people's pictures - don't know if that would fly ...
