Anyone ever travel to a Christmas Festival somewhere around the world or do you stay home and enjoy the local one near you, assuming there is one?
I personally stay home partially because of work, it is only the busiest time of the year in a resort town that I live in, but we do have a fun thing that happens on Christmas Eve. The Resort puts on a Festival Christmas Ice Show on their outdoor Ice Rink with Santa at the end and then they end that with 200+ ski instructors and ski patrol with Red torchs that ski down the main ski hill in a snake like manner for a "Torch light parade" when it is dark out and a firework show after that. Really quite fun.
