1. The last sentence is the clue to that.
I don't know how obvious it is, since from the above I still have no clue whether your reply to Leics meant yes or no.
Please folks, if you aren't prepared to answer other players in a civil manner then don't put your hat in the ring as the quiz-setter.

Let's have some civility here, by all means...
But that's a two-way street.
When you read the sentence it certainly does answer the question: "The timeless grandeur of the park will remain as it is, and that's yet another clue."
Why will it remain as it is? Because it's a National Park.
Now, can I be treated with respect?

Let me try to explain:
Your sentence certainly indicates it's a preserved location...and a 'park'....but there are national parks, state parks, regional parks, local parks and privately-owned parks. Hence my question.
It is entirely normal for participants to ask questions of the quiz-setter and a simple answer is all that's required, even if the quiz-setter considers the question already answered.

My apologies...
I thought 'National Parks' were the protected areas.

This is a National Park, though just a small one, it's in Queensland and within an hour's drive from Dalveen, where I used to live...
The granite formations are a major part of the attractions to the park.
I have no more photos, it's hard to come up with more clues as I gave away so many in my initial post.
Anyone who reads my initial post should have no problem working it out.

That's unfortunate. The idea is that you're meant to do so, not just post something hard and stall the game.
Would you like to end the round and see who else wants to take a turn? Or can anyone come up with it using some tools for research?

Thank you for another guess, greatgrandmaR...
Unfortunately it's incorrect.
As for ending it, not at all. I'm not here for an argument but every time I post something it seems an argument ensues.
There is one more clue within the opening post, I mentioned there that a highway is visible, can someone start by working out what highway?
