Definitely a trip to France, Annecy and possibly over into Burgundy. We're still discussing Bavaria vs Scotland vs Switzerland. We usually only do two trips a year as we don't like to leave our cat for too long. Our daughter takes care of her but she's turning into a senior cat and a bit more time consuming than she used to be. That's fine for us, but our daughter has a job . . .

Coming from NZ, everywhere other than Oz is a long trip.
We are off to Japan in July. Yes, we know it will hot and sweaty and probably damp but that is the most realistic time that I can get away.
There is lots of planning happening, watching youtube videos about transport, how to book trains, destinations etc. We will not have a JR pass as we are not doing enough miles to warrant one.
H will stay in Hong Kong to be grandma and I will fly home to go back to work.
