What's the policy for duplicate listings in the accommodation table? I just removed a whole bunch from Byron Bay, which were listed as both an external URL (some broken) and automatically linked to the booking system here, but just wanted to make certain that's what you should be done there...

Yep, that looks about right. Our automated updates don't touch the manually entered ones (for obvious reasons), so this definitely can happen.

A bug I just noticed: City of London had some 5-6 broken links. I fixed one; then only two were left. I happened to remember that one of the disappearing links was to the tate, so I went into the page manually to locate it, and fixed it; then upon reloading the 404 page, those remaining two links were also gone.

I thought it could be just a matter of the links not always being ordered by page consistently, but they're definitely not anywhere in the list anymore. Is this an off-by-one error somewhere (removing links from the list which shouldn't be removed), or is a failure with the rescanning code?

Do we have an "in need of updating" tag or somesuch? (I'm thinking functionality similar to [citation needed].) I've fixed the broken links for PATH in New York, but making heads or tails out of their current fare structure is more effort than I want to put in; but I do see that the current description is rather outdated.

There isn't an in need of updating tag at the moment. It would be a good addition. I've found with a few changes that it was time consuming trying to update the information and in some cases it was better to just change it to "Check prices at ..." to avoid the problem.

We just dipped below 500 broken links. \o/ Haven't even looked at the second half of that yet, so still lots of lowhanging (easy-to-fix) fruit.
(And dammit, I was so close on having my wiki character count go below -10,000; until a stupid spammer ruined it by deleting all of London ; reverting that brought me to the dizzying heights of +87.5k; gonna take me a while to get down to a negative character count again... )

Well, if you delete the London article again, I will restore it so I am closer to 15,000,000 again...:)

I took a break from this for a while, as all the obvious low hanging fruit was gone (you now need to sometimes actually look in the articles to see what the link was supposed to go to) :), but just got back into things. Less than 250 broken links to go!
