Indonesia - Sumatra & Jawa Recommendations

Hello fellow travelers!

My name is Marky and I'm a full-time traveler. My next stop will be Indonesia where I plan on spending around 2 months and I'd love to get some recommendations.

I already have a couple of places planned, but if you have any ideas to unique spots I can check out please let me know. I speak bahasa Indonesia (the main language of Indonesia), and would like to utilize it a lot with locals. On top of that I do a travel vlog on youtube so I'd love to showcase the beauty of this amazing nation to the world.

If you've been, have tips, or advice please let me know! I'm very excited to visit this country!

Since you are a full time experienced traveler, I guess your usual sources still apply. Free Google type searches, lending libraries, YouTube, even this forum has a link to Indonesia too.

For me the most important tip is... visit Jogyakarta! It is a fantastic city itself, and moreover from there you can visit the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan and the Merapi vulcano.
