Planning to travel to Hanoi and Halong Bay (Vietnam) in winter this year (Dec 2013/Early Jan 2014) for a short getaway.
Historical, cultural and nature scenery centered.
Budget is pretty low at less than $300 USD. (excl flight) Planning to stay in guesthouse.

Staying for 5 days 4 nights:
Day 1: Flight + Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi
Day 3: Overnight cruise at Halong Bay
Day 4: Halong Bay + back to Hanoi
Day 5: Flight back home
