Hi,

I am taking the train between Timisoara and Sibiu and then between Sibiu and Cluj/Napoca. My first train R3115 departs Timisoara and arrives in Arad at 2.19pm. I then connect onto IR075 at 2.34pm for Sibiu. I will be leaving Sibiu on R2443 and arriving into Vintu de Jos at 5.45pm. I will connect to train IC075 at 6.04pm. Is this itinerary doable? Has anyone rode these trains before and are they reliable? What are my contingencies should things get delayed/not work out? Do people recommend just riding the bus between these towns?

looks ok for me the connections you chose,on short distances mostly you don't find delays,so you have to trust the buffer time you have.
have a nice trip, and go safe.

If by any chance you will be connecting with a departing flight - DO NOT try to make the connection at the last minute! If simply touring the city for a few days then okay.

I give myself plenty of time to connect with my departing flights.

Good luck.
