Where should I go in Vietnam in 2025 as Solo Traveller
Ah yes.. i think Nha Trang is good place to visit
I went to Nha Trang, Vietnam once in 2018 and stayed for about 10 days with my cousin. I remember it was in late July. We stayed in the inland area and rarely saw the beach, so most of the 10 days were spent on the beach in Nha Trang. The scenery was beautiful. But correspondingly, we only spent two days visiting other areas. We took the sightseeing cable car that was several kilometers long and very high above the ground there, and visited Long Son Pagoda.
I remember when we arrived, Nha Trang had just experienced a typhoon, so there were mostly cloudy days and rainfall. Fortunately, the duration of those rainfalls was very short. The temperature was around 30 degrees Celsius, and the temperature difference between day and night was very small with no major changes. The humidity was very high. Try to avoid entering areas with more plants and closed waters in the wild. There were mosquitoes, and some of them bit quite fiercely. You need to carry insect repellent spray.
The basic trip is Hanoi, Halong, Hue and Hoi An. Then you can visit the south for Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta. Other possible extensions are Sapa (mountains and ethnics) in the north, Mai Chau and Ninh Binh (rural area close to Hanoi), and Da Lat.
