I can upload photos using the mobile site/mobile phone. However, if I want to post a photo in a travel forum, the icon to load the photo is not even there....

Am I doing something wrong.

On your mobile browser, have you the option to "use desktop site"?

Flip your phone to landscape mode, and the button will probably show up. In portrait mode there's not enough space for all the buttons, so only the most frequently used buttons are shown.

I've fixed this up so the image button appears on smaller size screens as well now.
