We have a lot of beaches around the world, in my area people would wear swimsuit,
but when you visit Bondi Beach or maybe Thailand you would see people jump in with their clothes on.
Even in England I think...or UK it is very normal for people to do that.
What its your experience over that?

It really, really isn't normal or common for people in the UK to go into the sea wearing clothes! I really don't know how you've got that idea!
The sea around the UK is pretty cold even in the height of summer. Even so, almost everyone who swims in the sea wears just a swimsuit. Some people swim in the sea all year round and some of them wear wetsuits or drysuits in the winter months. It's possible that some people would swim in the sea wearing clothes for religious reasons but I've only seen that in Tunisia, never in the UK.
People of course often wear their clothes if they're just paddling (walking through water no higher than knees) in the sea.
Occasionally people go into the sea with their clothes on because they're drunk.
But in the UK it really isn't normal for people to go into the sea wearing clothes.

In Thailand I have witnessed Thai ladies entering water with shirts or covering. Sometimes just modesty or mostly to keep the sun off their skin. Also Muslim women wearing some kind of covering at a beach.
But not so for males and tourists that I noticed in Thailand.
I think it has something to do with culture and customs of the place. In Thailand, I saw some wear swimsuits. I think it's more common to see them with clothes on rather than just swimsuits.
It's cultural. In some countries many prefer not to expose their bodies to others in public. Another factor might be the desire to reduce exposure to the sun while in water. For those who decide to cover up, it's wise to use clothing, such as a T-shirt, made of synthetic material instead of cotton. I wear shorts and a nylon T-shirt.
I usually see people with their bathing suits, but I have seen some women come in with their clothes on, I think it's a cultural thing.
When I am swimming orsnorkeling outside (that is not in an indoor pool, I wear a dive skin to cover my skin completely from the sun. It is too easy to get burned otherwise. A dive skin is a kind of jump suit with long sleeves and covers everything except my face and hands. And I also have fins and a snorkel and a mask. And a tank if i am diving. I don't know if this is what you are seeing.
It's funny you mention that. I’ve noticed the same thing in my travels. When I went to Thailand, I saw a lot of locals swimming in their clothes, which was quite different from what I'm used to.
