Every summer our weather forecasters cannot contain themselves when we get the perfect conditions to announce 'the blow-dryer is back'. It has to be over 110 F (43C), humidity under 10%, winds over 25 mph. Aug. 5th we had all three. It was officially 112 F (44C), 8% humidity, gusts over 35 mph. It was a little like standing before the Gates of Hell. Hot of course but a dry heat!

My photos and blogs are on here TP but don't post any more as everything can be found online now. Back from Costa Rica but have not written a blog yet. Hopefully in the next week or so. Everything in Vegas has a/c, we could not exist w/o that invention.
