We don't get all that many legitimate threads about travelling in India. Unfortunately the vast majority of threads relating to India turn out to be spam, and since we have a strict non-promotional policy for the forums, all of that is deleted on sight.
The Asia subforum is where you can expect threads about India to be posted. If you have questions yourself, that'd be the place to post them. If you just want to read earlier discussions and experiences, scanning over the topic list should give you at least a few of them.
N.B. You posted this question in the "Travel Companions" subforum, which is dedicated to finding people to travel together with. If that is what you want to do, then I have completely misinterpreted your post. It's generally useful to just state where you're going, what type of travelling you're looking to do (like budget, type of accommodation, what type of activities), and a little bit about yourself.
