The TP Foundation's Travel Unravelled Q&A Series guidelines have been updated. If you don't know about this little project, please take time to check it out. It's pretty cool. Everyone has a chance to participate and, so far, we've gotten some interesting replies.

Another update...
Congratulations to everyone involved with the project!!!!!!
The TP Foundation saw it's second anniversary on Friday (April 1, 2011) and made it's 76th loan at Kiva.org. To date, we've shared $4440.00 without a default. We have also loaned money to low and high risk Entrepreneurs alike. Initially, I felt we should focus on low risk loans and work our way up to the higher risk investments. I'm very pleased that route was not followed. Regardless of the risk factor, our Entrepreneurs have worked exceptionally hard to fulfill their end of the 'bargain'. Because of this, the risk factor is a non-issue. It's doing the right thing for the right reasons that really counts.
Once again, I am grateful to everyone who has chosen to participate and for their continued support. Thank you all!

Yes, it's been a very, very long time since I responded in this thread... But:
We have received several repayments from our Kiva loans. We now sit with $845.16 in the account. As a "Welcome to 2012!!" gesture, I will be making 8 - $100 loans on New Year's Eve (US time as Kiva is based in California).
I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has participated in the TP Foundation in their own way. Whether it be via the wiki, Amazon Associates, TU blog or TP fund-raisers, it's been a pleasure working with you all.
Pat yourselves on the back for doing wonderful things around the world!! You have our respect and gratitude for making this a spectacular project!
~~~~~~~~
On a personal note (as Isa), the TPF has gone farther than my wildest dreams! We've done the Kiva loans, two donations to Medecins sans Frontieres and one to Room to Read via Passports with Purpose. Okay, need to write a new donation description for my accountant but I don't care. (Neither will he.) I thank you all!!!!!!!!! Best wishes for 2012!!!!!!
THANK YOU!!!!!
As promised, those 8 - $100 loans were made on December 31st to ring in the New Year. This does leave us with ~$45 in the Kiva account but that will add up quickly with repayments, etc. I guess I could have divided it up a bit differently so we'd have had a nice even 100 loans to present to you. Regardless, we've 98 so far and I'm not complaining! We've reached this total in less than 2 years - our first loans were made August 5, 2009.
Kudos again, and may we have a successful 2012 spreading good will around the world!
Happy New Year everyone!
ps: I LOVE this stuff!
