Hi All. I'm planning an extended trip to East Asia this coming Oct. I am a petite - vertically challenged lol, 5 ft (~152cm) tall / 120 lbs (54 kg).

I currently have a Kelty Redwing 40W backpack that I love, especially since it has the chest & hip straps, and the back fits my short torso. However, due to knee injury I now need a backpack with wheels. Can you please recommend backpacks similar to this model that has wheels. Thank you!

Hi Betty. Welcome to TravellersPoint. I see you live in NY. Check to see if there is an REI store near you. If not, pick any good sporting goods store and just go in and have them fit you with a suitable backpack. They may have to order, but I'm sure they can help you.

BTW, our youngest daughter is your height too. Not sure that's vertically challenged because she's always been the toughest one in the family. No one has ever argued with her.

Thanks! I'll try that but quality backpacks (with wheels) are so difficult to find.

Will this be airline "carry-on" size or something bigger for check-in?
