I am on a bit of a mission to find the best handmade clothing from around the world....not from a company either, but from the mom and pop shop in the middle of nowhere or from the farmer up in the mountains who sheers his sheep before making merino wool clothing. Maybe this is a pipe dream but I know ive come across a few places during my travels where I found some really awesome clothing. It doesnt matter where it is or what type of clothing it is but if anyone know of products or makers of products anywhere in the world please feel free to weigh in on this. I want to bring awareness to these types of products!

Sounds an interesting idea and not spammy to me.

...When you don't fill out your profile a lot of regulars will be sceptical of your motives, since we do get a lot of fakers and spammers. Welcome to the forums, and do take a moment to put some things in your profile. :)

I'm just a bit grumps after having taken time (on several occasions) to give detailed answers to 1st time posters with very broad open questions who then all but disappear, who give an excellent impression of not having any interest in the one and only question/post they make.

yeah reading back at my original post it does look a bit suspect, like a used car saleman pitch so ill give you that. but no honestly it has been something ive been thinking about for a while regarding the crazy clothes you come across and i figured i would throw this out in a travel forum, this just happened to be the first one that came up on google and yes i just created my account.

I can empathise with that. Dealing with some of the modding on here can make me too suspicious and jaded. Roll on the end of the pandemic and we'll have some actual travel to talk about to make it worthwhile.

So in Tallinn I found the "wall of sweaters" - lots of interesting knitwear for sale. I hope it was all authentic local makers and not flown in from a sweatshop in SE Asia.
