We are looking to plan a 2 1/2-3 week trip starting mid June-start or July with our family of 5 (including 3 teens). Looking for best Asia destinations that aren't scorching hot as our kids/family definitely doesn't thrive in hot and humid climates.
We traveled to Thailand and Cambodia last winter, and we've been to Bali.

Did you find Thailand, Cambodia and Bali to be too hot and humid? Or, did your family weather the "heat" without problems? 
What country are you flying from?
How about Japan or Korea? Perhaps Tibet??

In Asia, perhaps destinations like Taiwan and Bhutan will offer you a great family vacation experience. In Africa, I'd recommend Morocco, where Atlas and Marrakech offer some pretty interesting options.

I have recently travelled to Korea and can say that between there and Japan you will be completely safe if that is one of your concerns! The other places are also relatively safe but these 2 countries are on another level I have not experienced before 
Good luck with that many teenagers and keeping them entertained too haha
