Hello Friends...

I need help for some of you who visited this place .. so I plan to visit Phu Quoc in July, my question are :

1. Is it good month to visit in July? How's the weather?
2. Any idea where's the best area to stay in Phu Quoc ( name of place or street)
3. Any recommend hotel to stay which is good review and clean?
4. Is it low crime? as i visited Da Nang before and I love it coz local are very friendly
5. Is it safe for solo travel for female
6. Any recommend restaurant, coffee shop to hangout and socialize?
7. How's the expense, is it similar with Da Nang or Cheaper? As I know Ho Chi Min and Hanoi are more expensive..

Your guys advice and tips really help me..
Thank You

Cheers
Vy

Hi.

It has been so long that I was in that part of Vietnam that any hotels or restaurants I would be familiar with have fallen apart.

One memory was the "aroma" of "nuoc mam". (Supposed to be the best fish sauce in all of Vietnam.)

For July, I would expect some rain. Google type search can give you some specific weather information.

When I checked hotels in Phu Quoc a few weeks ago the prices were similar to Da Nang, quite cheap less than $100 per week. In Saigon more like $150 per week or more.

Wet season in Phu Quoc while dry season in Danang/ Hoian.

Phu Quoc is more expensive, but the good thing about Vietnam is that the street food is delicious and very cheap.
July is usually the rainy season, so to be sure, you should follow the forecast and choose the date.

You can refer to Ha Long, then go to the northern mountains of Vietnam, which is also great.
