Last year I was able to create a travel map in multiple colours - to show journeys by air/sea/land in different colours.
When I try to edit map, it doesnt seem possible anymore.
Hs something changed, or I am i missing something ?

You still can. On the map, click on the trip (so that all stops are shown in the left column), then on the "..." menu in the top right of the left column. Pick "Edit Trip Details" from the context menu which shows up. Then in the top right of the left column, there'll be a circle with the current trip color, saying "trip color", which you can click to pick a different color.
Note that each "trip" can only have a single color, so you can't have different segments of the same trip in different colors. That's been unchanging since the very first map.
I do the colors as much as possible by the year - so all the trips in one year in the same color.
It is a real shame - I don’t need to combine different trips on a map but I really want to show one trip with different colours for air, train, cycling, car and bus.
It's a popular request. Definitely in my pipeline of things to add. Probably it will have to be a toggle where you can choose to have colours by transport mode or by trip.

Just popping in to say that I was *this close* to paying to become a supporter, but what I really need is to be able to change the route color by mode of transport (ie. blue line for bus, red for train, yellow for flights, green for ferries, etc), but as I have learned from this post and others, it just isn't possible. Everything else about this service is great, especially being able to follow the actual road, train lines. Alas, for now I'll have to find a different solution for making my travel map. Will definitely come back and happily pay once a color-coded transport method feature is added.
