Hello everyone,
My friend and I are doing a round the world trip on motorcycle for 3 years, through 80 countries and 150 000kms. We are near Tampa now and we are planning to go the Dominican Republic next week. We need to get the motorcycles from Florida to Dominican Republic and shipping them on a container is a lot of paperwork and waiting.
Does anyone know about a boat going from Florida to DR or a way to ship our motorcycles without all the waiting and the paperwork?

What do you mean? We are just looking for a way to ship our bikes to The Dominican Republic.
Have you talked to a DR Customs Broker yet or researched anything about the paperwork and import fees?
Lastly, the best country for motorbiking in the Caribbean is by FAR Cuba. It's not cheap or easy to import the bike into the country but the payoff is spectacular.

there´s a way...
you could take a ferry from puerto rico to dominican republic called ferries del caribe if you enter thru them, customs give you a permit to transit with a tag from usa , they let you transit all DR with those tags.... custom free..... because you are on transit in DR..... could be a car, suv or motorcycle, maybe you could send them another way like a container but I am not sure if that kind of paper work is harder and the permit... but thru ferries del caribe is piece of cake .... DR made an agreement with usa and puerto rico for that... https://ferriesdelcaribe.com/ I have traveled with them....
