We are flying into St. Thomas in November 2024, but are looking at options to get to our charter boat in The BVI. We've heard many people take the ferry, because it is the easiest option. To be honest, it is a bit confusing. Any other suggestions?

Unless you take a private charter plane from the USA direct to the BVI or get a friend with a boat to take you over, I don't know of any way to get from St. Thomas to a charter. We did a charter in 1997 but we picked up the chaer in the USVI

For the second charter we did in 1997 with some photos I took detailed notes in a log of where we anchored and what we saw. That log is at https://grandmarvirginisland.travellerspoint.com/17/

When you get to the end of the page, click on NEXT to get to the next page. Keep in mind that those are 1997 prices.

You can look at the first charter we did (all different anchorages) by going to the table of contents. We spent 4 days on St. John first that time.
