I was gone travel to new york any time soon so I need to plan my luggage can anyone suggest me. what was that usually allowed in-plane and should not be carried in the luggage?
What are the gadgets allowed in a flight journey?
Pull up the website of your airline on your computer. Usually they have instructions. Prohibited items will be confiscated. Some items are common sense such as gasoline, firearms, big knives, explosives, grenades, etc.

Your ticket agent, if you use one, can advise you too. Be careful of items that may be okay flying in your own country but forbidden for other international connection flights.
Lots of info will come up with a search.
Up to you.
I think officially knives (and scissors) with blades less than 6cm long are allowed in carry-on; more than 6cm go into the hold. But different security at airports around the world have their own ideas about what is and isn't allowed.
A couple of years ago I travelled with an unopened, sealed bottle of extra-hot chilli sauce from Argentina in my carry-on through seven or eight different airports (including LAX and Philadelphia) and around ten countries without a problem. As my homeward flight stopped in Tahiti for a refuel, the security there decided I wasn't allowed the chilli sauce.
On the train from Djibouti City to Addis Ababa, the security at the train station decided that two, brand-new disposable razors were 'illegal' and took them off me. But it was unbelievable what they did allow on!
So don't try to take through anything expensive which you think might be a problem, just in case.

Do you have a particular item that you are worried about?
For international flights I always travel with a carry-on bag and a check-in bag.
Larger size containers for liquids I put in my check-in bag. (Shampoo, aftershave, sun-block, etc.) In my check-in bag I have my can opener, scissors, Swiss Army type knife and a multi-tool for fixing luggage or whatever. Needle and thread in my check in bag to replace buttons or quick fix on a seam.
- I use a lot of cheap hotel rooms overseas. More than once I have fixed a lamp, tightened up the screws on the door to make it a little more secure. I have had to repair luggage and even sew up a pair of sneakers. Stuff breaks or tears at inconvenient times.
- Google search will be helpful for you for additional information and examples.

On the Flight
But at the time of take-off, the passengers are not allowed to use their phones even on airplane mode. On flights from the U.S.A. to India, you can use light electronic gadgets, for example, cell phones, iPods, tablets, electronic books, headsets, compact recorders, and so forth, on the flight.
Thank you to everyone out there for clearing my doubts.
