Thanks for this forum, I saw a few months back that Vietnam and Cambodia was the best place to apply for DTV is it still accurate? I'm going to be applying by myself with the eVisa portal and I have my income proof already.
I'm thinking 3-4 weeks in HCM City? I have never been to Cambodia though, kinda curious!

Have you worked out the entry requirements to Vietnam and Cambodia??
Vietnam is processing the DTV really fast, less than 1 week on average. But they have been stricter on a few cases while Cambodia seems more relaxed albeit slower, maybe 2 weeks to approval. If you are a first time traveler to Cambodia it is fun but a bit rougher around the edges. If you are very organized with all your paperwork already, you might go with Vietnam at the Thai embassy in Saigon. Plus, you can get direct flights from both Bangkok and Chiang Mai too.
