Hostel in Beijing

Quick one as im still researching and under pressure to book - can anyone recommend a hostel in Beijing, I arrive 25th October and hope to stay @ 3 nights. New to the city therefore somewhere safe.

I used to stay at Dream Travel Hostel in Beijing. I would recommend the place for its excellent location. Near bell tower, ho hai (lake), bar street, hutong area. Also lots of great food, shops around, good public transport connection, train ticket office nearby.
Also easy to get to tianmen square, forbidden palace, etc...

In China, it is safe everywhere.

Thank you, that's great - I've seen a few on TP Accom - just need to decide now which one to go with-I guess they all do the same thing, just location eh! Ahhhh!

If a budget hotel is any good to you, I stayed in the Jin Jiang East Asia hotel which was pretty good value; it's in a fantastic location on East Nanjing Road which is right in the heart of everything.

Thank you! I ended up booking the Dream Travel hostel in the end-too many to choose from and this was cheap so glad to have it booked. Roll on 24th October!
