where are these

we have pics taken in the early 70s.
how can i post them to see if anyone knows where they were taken?

or do you know of a travel forum that does let one upload pictures

Look at the header of this page.
Point your mouse at "Control Panel".
A window opens which has "Upload Photos" in the third line.
Click this "Upload Photos". A new page opens.
Click "Select files", select files from your computer, then "Start Upload".

Tell people to look at the photos in your profile here... they are there, and visible to everyone. Click on your name, and your profile page opens. The photos are displayed in there as thumbnails and can be enlarged and viewed.
I can see them. I am still clueless where this is, though. Any hints? Where these, for example, taken during a cruise on the Mediterranean? Greece? France? Italy?

Identify these photos please.

Click here and try to identify the photos. The third one is the best clue although I have no idea where it is; I'm sure someone will recognize the harbor and the castle on the hill.

Mediterranean cruise in 1972.
Southampton, Lisbon , Sicily etc.
the pics taken on land were identified by the various tourism folks...
but the coming into harbour ones- well they don't go out to sea very often!

there is a hotel in the picture.

One of the problems is the Mediterranean has had a real building boom. Where ever this is it probably looks nothing like this today. You don't have the old itinerary? It would really narrow it down if we just had a few places to focus on.
