WHAT??? It only took 4 days? Are you UK based? Surely it would be the same process if you are from the UK or from Austraia? Is there any way you got the process expidited? I have been told it will take me 3-4 weeks and I have no idea when its going to come through.
So to be clear, they email you once the Visa has been approved? They already have my passport you reckon I will still get the email or they will just send me my passport back?

Hi
My boyfriend has a criminal record for ABH over 10 years ago. He applies for a visa 4 years ago and was refused, and was then refused for a waiver of ineligibilty. Can he apply again or is that it?
thanks

Hi, My Boyfriend Is 18 And He Has A Criminal Record for two minor offences that he had done when he was 13years old and one when he was 17 years old. the offences was when he was 13 years old he was caught in a stolen car, but he wernt driving it, and the other offence that he had done when he was 17 years old he was charged for public order act section 1.
We are planning on going to america for a holiday for maybe 3 weeks next year for his 19th birthday but i am worried that he might be rejected because of his minor offences?, he has never been convicted and if he applied for a visa he might get rejected aswell. i need answers.. PLEASE HELP x. Thanks

Victoria,
Read post # 16 & 22. As I read it, convictions committed by a minor are not going to be in the US database. Good luck.

Hi............If you go to australia you do not have to give spent criminal records after so many years of the conviction..1 year basic likes discharges.binding over...probation 5 years..prison 10 years and not over 30 month sentence....if your convictions are spent then you do not have(if no clauses) to submit them to anyone if you do not wat to, although they may try to push you if your not aware of your rights.
Government Australia policy V11C 1914 act states you do not have to give info on spent convictions if you are part of the commonwealth,Australia is and so is britain. This is an immigration act as well..you do not have to give any info even if asked as it isx your righ under this act...IMATINYGIRL
