Eric,
Maybe it's an idea to add a link at the travelguide page, right at the bottom right, where the links to the project getting around and still project sights and activities is
Cheers
ideas for new projects?
I too am interested in aiding the UNESCO build.
I think I am up to around 150 of them. Great to show feedback, transport, to and from, accomadation etc, in addition to the history.
How about adding an average daily budget for countries? Might stop some of the continual "how much money will I need" questions on the board.
Break the budget down to just 'lodging' and 'food' and maybe a breakdown of high, medium and budget. And let people go at it.
Yeah, I like that. Budgeting is always a big question and having a suitable place / format for that would make sense.
Could also have these for cities by the way - some cities don't necessarily reflect on the whole country, ie Moscow
I know that it is possible to add airports to the guide, but I have the impression, that there are not a lot of them added to the guide. Is it worth it to make a project out of that?

Just to be clear - this would be adding airport information to the Getting There section for various cities? Or actual articles on each airport? Like the Pearson Airport Toronto article? Both not bad ideas.. certainly a major part of necessary travel information.
Yes, just like the Pearson one. There is already a template for it. (at last I stumbled upon one.)
Perhaps the eating out project should be flagged for attention to encourage more people to write on that? So far there are only 3 cities with eating out pages...
The World Cup is coming up. (ooohh.... really?)
As I assume many people are going to SA, it would be a good moment to have information added to several of the cities in South Africa.
