I'm Rich, I started my travels at 18 with a year all over Australia. Came back to the UK and worked for 2 years to fund my next big trip round the world. Went to Bali, Australia again, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada and the States.

The following winter I went all over Southern Africa for 4 months. Including South Africa, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. Namibia was an absolute favourite and I put it as one of my favourite countries so far.

The following winter I travelled all over South and central America. Putting Argentina on the list as my favourite country.

Then a trip was a "short" 2 month one with my sister to Western Canada again and drove 7000 miles to Alaska on the Alaskan highway all the way from and returning back to Vancouver.

Following year a short stop in Hong Kong, back to Australia for a wedding and then a quick return to South Africa for 6 weeks or so for another wedding and seeing the beautiful country once again.

I then lived in South Africa for nearly a year.

Final backpacking trip took me to Tanzania where I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and admired the Serengeti. On to India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia then visitied my sister who moved to live in Christchurch New Zealand.

Iceland, Denmark, Austria, southern Italy, Portugal, northern Spain, Switzerland all in recent years.

I don’t like “holidays” I like to see the country.

• Hobbies:

  I feel so lucky to live in Devon, I appreciate it so much. I have 2 wonderful dogs Mother and son- Dave and Trigger. I go out walking and running with them everyday. I Love to run and play football. "TRY" to Surf, I enjoy cooking, movies, talking about travel and most things really. I care about the environment a lot and hope one day to make some kind of impact for the future of our Planet. I love my garden, try to be as sustainable as possible. Im a Big Seinfeld fan! love it
  Travel has been my main hobby with it being "my life" in recent years.
