Gran Canaria Airport

Introduction

Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) is the busiest of the Canary Islands and dozens of airlines serve the island. Budget airline Ryanair has flights to a number of cities in Europe, while German based Condor and Air Berlin have flights as well.

Getting there and away

The airport can easily reached by taking the GC1 motorway. Rental cars, taxis and some buses are available. Many tourists have a transfer included in their package holiday though.

There are two terminals: terminal A for EU and mainland flights, terminal B-C for inter-island flights and other destinations...officially. As you see below, this is not always the case.
