Two surveyors on the Trocadero esplanade setting up their Total Station by Beausoleil
Our daughters are both Geomatics Engineers so we always look for surveyors out doing their jobs. We were a bit surprised to see these two in the middle of a very busy tourist spot in Paris. That is what I call surveying with a view!

The Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero Esplanade by Beausoleil
This is probably the best view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It's usually blocked by people selling souvenir trinkets but if you get there early enough, they haven't arrived and blocked the view yet.

The Aquarium of Paris by Beausoleil
We walked from Place du Trocadéro down through the Jardins du Trocadéro and discovered an aquarium in the center of Paris. If you have children or are interested in things marine, this could be a fun place to visit and it's practically beneath the Eiffel Tower.
The Eiffel Tower from the Place du Trocadéro by Beausoleil
This is a very quiet Trocadéro. There are often demonstrations here and usually more buskers and souvenir sellers, not to mention the tourist they entertain. It was a good day for pictures since you could actually see the large plaza with the tower in the background.

Posing for the tourists on the Trocadero by Beausoleil
The Trocadero not only has great views of the Eiffel Tower, it is fun tourist mania all day. There are souvenir vendors and people in native costumes happy to pose for you. It's all great fun . . . just watch your wallet.
