I LOVE TRAVELLING AND READING ABOUT TRAVEL.

I enjoy sharing travel experiences with others.

I am a retired dentist as well as an author. I love mainly in LONDON (UK). My second home is BANGALORE in India. I am married, and we have one child.

I have written (and published) books about Albania, the former Yugoslavia, Sicily, Italy, India, and South Africa.

I have visited a number of countries. Of these my favourites are the Balkans (especially Albania), India, Italy, and the UK.

I joined Travellerspoint once I knew that Virtual Tourist was to be discontinued. I am finding this website it hospitable and user-friendly, especially the ability to produce nice looking blog pages.

I look forward to meeting you!

Hobbies:
Travel, cooking, eating, sleeping, writing, reading, photography, theatre, cinema (especially Bollywood), bookshop browsing (especially second-hand!), book collecting, and chatting.

Bangalore

I have been visiting Bangalore/Bengaluru once or twice a year since 1994. My in-laws live there, and I have many local (Bangalore) friends. Being keen on sight-seeing and exploring, I have got to know the city well both as a tourist and a kind of temporary local. In brief, Bangalore is my second home!
