Yup, the light was gorgeous. About 6 PM, February, Sahara 
D70 and other pics are back - i felt it wise to upload a smaller size than i initially had.
Can't quite make it out - what camera is that? The D200?
And I love the soft shadows on the sand dunes on those other two desert photos you shortly uploaded and then deleted again. Gorgeous light.
