Ms.Isabella, an English-speaking employee of the Tourist Information Center at 7 Pulaski Street, invited us to this exhibition long before it was officially announced by the city council. The exhibition took place on the first weekend of September on the premises of the Siedlce City Development Agency at John Paul II Street. It’s behind the Water Park. It was a two-day outdoor event that attracted many residents and guests. I found out it was one of the three largest events of this kind in Poland. The event was organized by the Mazovian Agricultural Advisory Centre and attended by many local government officials, parliamentarians associated with the region, and representatives of the world of science.

The full name of the exhibition is the 30th International Agricultural Advisory Days. It was combined with the 18th Regional Breeding Animals Exhibition. The visitors attended the fair, the artistic performances, a cuisine workshop, and award ceremonies in various competitions of horses. Therefore, if you are interested and you are visiting Siedlce in early September, take a look at the posters and try to attend this impressive exhibition.

The program included:

• consultation points of many institutions;
• commercial and service offers of companies operating for the benefit of agriculture in the sphere of machinery and equipment, fertilizers, fodder, protection products, building materials, elements of garden architecture, etc.;
• exhibition of agricultural produce, sale of flowers, trees, fruit and ornamental shrubs;
• sale of folk and artistic handicraft products;
• exhibition and competition of breeding horses;
• presentation of agritourism and ecological farms;
• performances of artistic groups from Siedlce County.

The breeding animals competition took place in the area called Błonia Siedleckie. It is located between the Papal Cross and the stadium hill right opposite the sports area. The animals were brought from different Polish farms and stayed in steel barns in the field. We approached the horses and observed them through the windows with small grids. I could not help admiring the well-groomed horses. The stud mares were especially elegant and graceful. The competition consisted of several stages: the jockey walked with the horse and then ran a circle with it for the jury members to assess its state. The Hutsul breed of horses were followed by stud mares and stud stallions. What a show!

The exhibition would not have been complete without music and dances. The stage was installed right behind the stadium tribunes. Several amateur artistic groups from Siedlce County presented their talents.

The agricultural exhibition presented over 200 companies and farms who had their stands and tents there. It incorporated several competitions whose results were announced at the end:

1. the Best Organic Farm;
2. the Best Ecological Advisor;
3. the Safe Farm;
4. the Hit of the 30th International Days with Agricultural Consulting;
5. the Most Interesting Stand of the 30th International Days with Agricultural Consulting;
6. the best producer groups.

The visitors had an opportunity to have some fast food, to partake to traditional dishes or to sit under the tents and eat the selected food. In front of the entrance to this event from John Paul II Street, an amusement park was set up. The visitors had a wide gastronomic offer indeed. During the first day, Karol Okrasa, a presenter of the Polish TV culinary programs, presented his skills.

As the local mass media reported, the exhibition was a great annual event that was very important for developing the agricultural cooperation. It was a success.
The farmers and businessmen had ample opportunities in this sphere:

• professional advice on new production technologies and obtaining funds;
• presentation of the Mazovian Group Tradition Development Future;
• familiarizing themselves with the offer of groups of agricultural producers of fruit and vegetables.

Let's hope that the Polish farmers will be able to cope with all their production plans, will not be disturbed too much in running their farms, and the agricultural cooperation will strengthen year after year.

The local residents and guests flooded the exhibition. I saw they were interested in buying flowers, trees and ornamental shrubs for their homes. Their kids were interested in photo sessions as agricultural drivers.

Thus, the visitors enjoyed many opportunities, among them:

1. getting offers of organic farms, agritourism farms and educational homesteads;
2. attending the fairs of fruit and ornamental plants, organic and traditional food;
3. visiting the exhibition of agricultural inventory with their kids, where kids were allowed to sit inside the machine cabins, and photo sessions were welcome;
4. seeing the exhibition of agricultural products and buying them at the sale.
