After everyone waking at 3am, we managed to stay in bed until 7.30. For breakfast we had to try the local specialty - Belgian waffles at Mokafe.
We then toured the city and back streets and walked 90 mins out to the Basilica Sacre Coeur.
We were lazy and caught public transport back for another lunch of baguettes.
We caught up with all of the kids back home.
After lunch we headed back out to explore. This time St Michel church, which we could see from our window.
We checked out the Royal Palace and may have even spotted the King before finding a few bars.
This one is in front of the European Union.
And here are a few more.
It was then onto Maison Antoine - The best Frites shop in town.
22,500 steps later, we are home and exhausted.
Oh, after we checked out the Grand Place in the dark!
It's off to Prague in the morning.
