About @GregW

54 years old • Male • IT Consultant

I didn't travel much as a kid, and really didn't get into travelling until I was in my late 20s, when I got a job travelling all over North America. That just wanted to make me see more of the world. So that's what I am trying to do now!

I moved to London, England in June of 2008 to test if the "live and work abroad and gain lots of cool experience" myth is true or not. Results still pending.

  • Hobbies:

Travel (obviously), sampling beers of the world

  • Favourite places:

Denver, CO for teaching me that some place other than Toronto could feel like home, Punta Arenas, Chile for teaching me the joy that accompanies that complete and total freedom of being thousands of miles from home without any sort of schedule and Paris, for inspiring me to pack up and move across the ocean.

...But I haven't seen everywhere yet.

Canada

Lived in Canada for 38 years (before moving overseas). Know a lot about Toronto and Southern Ontario, and little bits about other places in the country like Quebec and BC.

Ask GregW a question about Canada.

USA

Have worked in the USA on and off for 12 years. Have spent extensive time (at least 1 month) in Denver, Detroit, Columbus (OH), San Antonio, St. Louis, San Francisco, New York/New Jersey, Seattle, Houston and Atlanta. I have a good grasp on other parts of the country as well.
